About the Role
The Senior Finance Business Partner leads operations, clients, and leadership across world-class sports and entertainment Levy venues in Scotland. The role is central to driving profitable growth, strong financial control, and the successful mobilisation of new venue contracts through insight-led decision making and disciplined governance. It suits a dynamic, hands‑on, and commercially focused finance professional looking to make an impact in a fast-paced hospitality and events environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive commercial performance and data insights.
- Strengthen financial control and reporting.
- Lead the finance workstream for new contract mobilisation.
- Improve systems, processes, and automation.
- Support delivery of Compass MAP (Management & Performance Reporting) plans.
Required Experience & Qualifications
- A personable self-starter with the ability to build strong relationships with senior stakeholders and operators alike.
- Completed qualifications such as AAT, a finance degree, or QBE.
- Excellent Excel and analytical skills, with experience using Power BI and SAP.
- Strong management accounting experience.
- Experience with financial systems and ERP implementations.
- Excellent commercial acumen.
- Proven ability to influence non-finance stakeholders.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Able to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong project management capability.
- The flexibility to travel and work across different locations as required.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in hospitality, events, stadium, or multi-site environments.
- Previous mobilisation or project-based finance experience.
- Knowledge of contract finance and commercial terms.
- Full UK driving licence.
Salary
- £75,000 Plus bonus
