Full-Time On-site
Global Sports Jobs Limited

About the Role

Premier League Studios is seeking a Production Assistant to join the Programming department, supporting its various teams across multiple programmes from development through to delivery in a fast-paced and collaborative environment. Reporting to the Production Manager, the role supports the Production Management team in helping to ensure the smooth running of multiple programming strands, including multiple shows (including live) and the studio team. The role is suited to someone with strong organisational skills, excellent attention to detail and a passion for production.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide production assistance and administrative support to the Programming team.
  • Support the setup and coordination of shoots in the UK and occasionally internationally.
  • Book crew, source locations, props and equipment, arrange camera kits, travel and accommodation, manage visas and carnets where required, and prepare and distribute call sheets.
  • Manage production administration, including raising work orders and processing invoices.
  • Monitor and track costs against budgets.
  • Maintain accurate scheduling and workforce records using Xytech or equivalent scheduling tools.
  • Provide autocue and scripting support as part of the rota.
  • Support Health & Safety compliance and processes as required.
  • Provide general production support and undertake additional duties as required by the Production Coordinator and Production Manager.

Required Experience & Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a Production Assistant or Runner role.
  • Previous administrative experience, ideally within a production, television or similarly fast-paced environment.
  • Availability to work rota-based weekends and late shifts around the football calendar.
  • Appreciation for production processes, including pre-production, production and post-production.
  • Strong planning and organisational skills, with a high level of attention to detail.
  • Ability to work well as part of a team, with a good level of initiative to complete tasks effectively on your own without close supervision.
  • Previous experience of working to tight deadlines and working effectively under pressure.
  • Excellent time management, with a reliable and punctual approach.
  • Positive, professional and keen approach to work, demonstrating a drive to progress in Production Management.
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages.

Workplace

  • A hybrid-working model allows some variety in place of work, offering the chance to work from home on some days each week where possible.
  • Staff are expected to attend the office or site visits in line with company policy.
  • All staff liaise closely with their line manager to manage their time appropriately and according to their work and team requirements.

The Application Process

Safer recruitment procedures are used to assess the suitability of individuals applying for roles that involve work with children and adults who are or may be at risk of harm.

  1. The recruitment process can be adjusted to remove barriers that prospective candidates might face at any stage.
  2. Candidates with a disability can request the advert in an alternative format or discuss how the interview process can be adjusted to best support them.
