About the Role

The Junior Activities Assistant supports the Family Activities Team in creating a safe, fun and nurturing environment where children can learn, play and thrive while their parents enjoy the club. The role involves building positive relationships with children and families, delivering engaging activities, and helping to create exceptional experiences that make every visit memorable.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and support children at all times.
• Ensure the Club V environment is safe, attractive and welcoming for all children.
• Create a safe, fun and nurturing environment where children can learn, play and thrive.
• Deliver engaging activities and create exceptional experiences that make every visit memorable.
• Build positive relationships with children, families, parents and caregivers.
• Adhere to all company and government policies and procedures.
• Support both staff and members as required.
• Work collaboratively within the Family Activities Team.

Required Experience & Qualifications

• Minimum Level 2/3 qualification in a child-related field.
• Previous experience working with children.
• Health and Social Care qualifications do not cover the required child-related qualification.
• Friendly, calm and approachable nature.
• Ability to act quickly and effectively.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Willingness to support both staff and members.
• Ability to build effective relationships with parents and caregivers.
• Enjoys working in a team and has the drive to inspire and motivate others.

Workplace

• Part-time, 20 hours per week
