Casual Matchday Chefs in Liverpool

About the Role

Liverpool FC is recruiting Commis Chefs, Line Chefs and Chefs de Partie (or similar) to join its matchday culinary team at Anfield Stadium. The roles support high-volume hospitality and catering service on matchdays, working within professional kitchen teams. These are casual positions with variable hours offered on a flexible assignment basis, suited to chefs seeking additional shifts around existing commitments. The start date is from October2026.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook dishes in line with recipes, specifications and service requirements.
• Support the delivery of high‑quality food service across a range of hospitality and catering areas.
• Maintain excellent standards of food quality, consistency and presentation.
• Assist with food preparation and ensure service areas are ready for busy matchday operations.
• Follow food safety, allergen and hygiene procedures at all times.
• Support stock rotation, storage and wastage control.
• Work collaboratively with chefs and kitchen teams to deliver an exceptional matchday experience.
• Contribute to a professional, positive and team‑focused kitchen environment.

Required Experience & Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Commis Chef, Line Chef, Chef de Partie, or in a similar kitchen role.
• Experience working within hospitality, catering, events, hotels, restaurants, stadiums or other high-volume food environments.
• A passion for food and delivering high standards.
• The ability to work efficiently under pressure during busy service periods.
• Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
• A good understanding of food safety and allergen management.
• Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate.

Workplace

• Matchday work at Anfield Stadium, with home games only and no away travel required.

Salary

• £14–£16 Per hour, depending on experience, plus 12.07% holiday pay.
