About the Role
The Lifeguard plays a vital role in overseeing poolside safety and ensuring members have a great experience. The role sits within a premium health and wellness group with over 180 indoor and outdoor pools. The postholder ensures pool areas comply with all Health and Safety requirements, conducts pool tests in line with company guidelines, and maintains accurate documentation at all times. The team is described as ambassadors of the business and the heart of what it does, operating in an environment where teams feel a sense of belonging and can thrive physically and mentally.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee poolside safety at all times.
- Ensure members have a great experience.
- Ensure pool areas are compliant with all Health and Safety requirements.
- Conduct pool tests in accordance with company guidelines.
- Maintain documentation accurately at all times.
Required Experience & Qualifications
- Hold an NPLQ qualification to apply for the role.
- Have a passion for all things health and fitness.
- Strong engagement, communication and active listening skills.
- Be a team player, happy to share knowledge and best practice.
