About the Role
The Aston Villa Foundation is seeking aspiring football and sports coaches to join its Football Development Team within the Foundation and Community Partnerships department. The post holder delivers a range of football and sport-based sessions as part of the Football in the Community (FitC) programme, which provides high-quality football and multi-sport provision for children of all ages and abilities. Sessions are delivered in community and school settings and aim to increase physical activity, football participation and performance. The role operates on variable hours, with a commitment to a minimum of six weeks during school holidays, and includes school holiday, evening and weekend provision.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver a range of football and sport-based sessions within the Football in the Community (FitC) programme.
- Deliver high-quality football and multi-sport coaching to children of all ages and abilities.
- Deliver sessions within community and school settings.
- Deliver provision during school holidays, evenings and weekends.
- Support the programme's aims of increasing physical activity, football participation and performance.
- Commit to a minimum of six weeks of delivery during school holidays.
Required Experience & Qualifications
- Ability to engage children of all abilities and from a variety of backgrounds.
- Ability to deliver high-quality coaching sessions.
- Availability to deliver sessions during school holiday, evening and weekend provision.
- Commitment to a minimum of six weeks during school holidays.
- A satisfactory enhanced disclosure via the Disclosure & Barring Service may be required prior to starting, in line with Safer Recruitment processes.

Salary
- Variable hourly rate ranging from £13.85 to £20.53 per hour
