AV Producer in Biggin Hill

About the Role

The AV Producer will join Formula 1's Content Production team, reporting into the Senior Motion Graphics Designer. The role is responsible for producing high quality, creative video content for Formula 1's AV installations. The position sits within the Broadcast and Media division and involves working across Formula 1's London and Biggin Hill offices. The producer will create engaging content for bespoke AV installations and support internal and public-facing screens. Potential progression could include Senior AV Producer, supported by deeper expertise in complex 3D, immersive and multi-screen AV design, creative leadership and project ownership.

Key Responsibilities

• Conceive, produce and deliver engaging content for several bespoke AV installations in Formula 1's London and Biggin Hill offices, working under own skill and initiative.
• Take full ownership of the design and build of a wide range of bespoke content requirements for internal and public-facing screens, ensuring all KPIs are met.
• Work quickly after each Formula 1 race to update screens with new material, updating graphics and statistics where relevant.
• Manage production workflows and technical pipelines to deploy footage 24/7, and be available to work over Formula 1 race weekends to update editorial and corporate content as needed.
• Work closely with staff and freelance designers to develop creative and technical offerings for each area of both offices.
• Oversee the creation of bespoke 2D and 3D content for specific areas of the offices and manage content requests by identifying specific needs for each screen.
• Oversee the final video production process, ensuring appropriate elements are produced and included so the finished product is contemporary in style and technically correct.
• Ensure projects are fully compliant with Formula 1's internal policies and procedures, and supervise work undertaken by motion graphic designers and agencies, providing guidance and creative vision.
• Keep fully aware of styles and developments in high-end video production and all Formula 1 developments to ensure AV and programming content is innovative, industry-leading, contemporary and factual, and oversee final content production so all elements are technically sound and factually accurate.
• Work collaboratively with other departments, maintaining and developing close relationships with internal and external partners.

Required Experience & Qualifications

• Proven experience producing video content for AV screens.
• Highly motivated and keen to embrace new challenges.
• Flexible, with the ability to work weekend, evening or night work depending on deadlines and the time zone of each race event.
• Ability to work well under time pressure.
• Current UK driving licence.

Preferred Skills

• Experience producing content for special installations with bespoke specifications.
• Training in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Adobe After Effects.
• HND or equivalent in an AV-related subject.
• HND or equivalent in Graphic Design.
