Role Description
This is a part-time remote role for a Volunteer Science Magazine Editor. The Volunteer Science Magazine Editor will be responsible for reviewing and editing research publications sent to GSYP. Daily tasks include proofreading, ensuring accuracy, providing constructive feedback, and collaborating with authors to polish their work. The editor will work closely with the content team to maintain high-quality standards. They can also include work of their own.
Science Magazine Overview
Currently, GSYP\'s science magazine, \"The Starry Messenger\" is about to release its 4th issue. There are three issues in the year, April, August, and December.
Qualifications
- Strong proofreading and editing skills
- Experience in academic or research writing
- Ability to provide constructive feedback and collaborate with authors
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and remotely
- Familiarity with physics terminology is beneficial but not required
- Previous editorial experience is a plus
- You don\'t need to be a university graduate, studying physics is a plus, but not necessary.
