This role supports GSI’s sustainability by identifying opportunities that increase capacity and resources. Strong business development helps us plan for growth, strengthen services and reach more vulnerable communities over time.
What are we looking for?
We are looking for a proactive volunteer with experience in business development, fundraising, sales or social enterprise. Strong research, communication and analytical skills are important. The ideal volunteer will be organised, confident working independently and motivated by social impact. Experience in the voluntary sector is desirable but not essential.
What will you be doing?
The Volunteer Business Development Officer will research and develop opportunities that support GSI’s growth. Tasks include identifying funding or income opportunities, researching new services or markets, supporting proposals and pitches, and making recommendations to support sustainability. The role requires around 6 hours per week for approximately six months and is fully remote.
