We are currently working with a leading client in the renewable energy sector who is looking to appoint an experienced Project Manager to support the delivery of utility-scale solar projects across the UK. This is an excellent opportunity to join a dynamic EPC environment, working on high-profile projects and playing a key role in delivering large-scale energy infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage projects from inception through to completion, ensuring delivery on time, within scope and budget
- Coordinate with internal teams including engineering, design, finance, and site teams
- Liaise with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth project execution
- Develop and manage detailed project programmes and track progress
- Oversee budgets, cost control, and resource allocation
- Manage subcontractor packages, RFQs, and contract administration
- Ensure compliance with QHSE standards and company procedures
- Identify and mitigate project risks, resolving issues as they arise
- Prepare and present weekly and monthly progress reports
- Support project handover to operations teams
Requirements:
- Degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Civil) or similar
- Proven experience delivering solar or renewable energy projects (EPC environment preferred)
- Strong understanding of project lifecycle and construction delivery
- Experience managing subcontractors and multiple stakeholders
- Knowledge of project planning tools (e.g. MS Project)
- Strong communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills
- Project management certifications (PMP, PRINCE2) are advantageous
