Associate Project Manager – Onshore Wind About the Role An opportunity has arisen for an Associate Project Manager – Onshore Wind to support the development of renewable energy projects across the UK. This role offers the chance to contribute to the delivery of onshore wind projects from early-stage concept through to final investment decision. Working within a collaborative project environment, you will support project delivery activities and play a key role in advancing projects that contribute to the energy transition. Key Responsibilities Support Project Managers in delivering key development milestones for onshore wind projects. Maintain project documentation including schedules, risk registers, budgets, and stakeholder plans. Take ownership of defined workstreams such as stakeholder engagement, environmental surveys, or design coordination. Coordinate with internal teams and external consultants to ensure alignment across project phases. Engage with landowners, public authorities, and local communities throughout the development lifecycle. Promote safe, structured, and compliant project delivery practices. Location Edinburgh, UK (Hybrid). Travel and occasional out-of-hours work may be required. Driving licence desirable but not essential. Requirements Degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related discipline. Approximately 3+ years’ experience in a professional project environment, ideally within infrastructure, energy, or development. Understanding of core project management principles. Strong communication skills in English (written and spoken). Ability to engage effectively with a wide range of stakeholders. Structured and detail-oriented approach to managing documentation and project data. Motivated to learn and develop within the renewable energy sector. Desirable Formal project management qualification (e.g. PRINCE2, APM). Experience in renewable energy or large-scale infrastructure development.
