The Global Rights Alliance is an international, youth‑led human rights organization focused on empowering the next generation of human rights advocates. With a mission centered on promoting and protecting human rights, the organization fosters collaboration, networking, and engagement across borders. Through shared initiatives, the alliance seeks to create impactful solutions to advance human rights globally. Role Description
This is a full-time remote role for a Human Rights Advocate. In this position, you will research human rights issues, advocate for justice, and collaborate with stakeholders to develop strategies for addressing rights violations. Responsibilities include raising awareness, creating content for outreach, organizing virtual events, and engaging with global communities. You will represent the organization\’s mission and values in fostering human rights initiatives.
Qualifications
- Advocacy, public speaking, and interpersonal skills to engage with diverse audiences and stakeholders effectively
- Research, analytical, and problem‑solving skills tailored to human rights issues
- Content creation, writing, and editing skills for generating impactful outreach and campaign materials
- Cultural sensitivity, knowledge of international human rights frameworks, and an understanding of global social justice issues
- Experience organizing and managing virtual events or advocacy campaigns
- Proficiency in social media engagement and digital communication platforms
- Bachelor’s degree in International Relations, Human Rights, Political Science, or a related field (advanced degree or equivalent experience is beneficial)
- Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus
