We are currently looking for a Senior Financial Modeller to join a global consultancy firm, working on a large Central Government programme. The role will be supporting on the financial modelling, planning and assessment of the programme. The candidate will use their strong financial modelling experience to develop a strong understanding of the wider financial implications of the different programme options, liaising with a range of senior stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
- Strong financial skills with an accountancy qualification.
- Proficiency using advanced Excel, including complex formulas and macros.
- Excellent track record of cost modelling large projects and strong financial modelling experience.
- Ability to interpret large volumes of complex data to identify an efficient and clear plan in order to produce accurate and concise updates to the financial cost model.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multi-stakeholder environment, developing successful relationships between own team and other areas.
- Proven experience of cost and schedule risk analysis and scenario analysis.
- Experience presenting to senior leadership, stakeholders and SROs.
- Knowledge of Green Book and other government frameworks such as the Financial Reporting Manual (FReM), Consolidated Budgeting Guidance (CBG) etc.
- Experience working with commercial finance data, such as bid reviews; creation of bid templates; supplier template reviews; supplier financial stability assessments etc.
- Experience in visualising data, to relay complex data to a non-technical audience.
Candidates must have active SC Clearance in order to be considered for the role.
