Initial 3-6 month contract, Rate - c. £500pd inside IR35, 2 days per week onsite in London.

We are looking for an experienced Cloud Engineer to help shape and deliver secure, scalable, and high-performing cloud infrastructure across a multi-cloud environment (AWS & Google Cloud).

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the design, delivery, and optimisation of cloud infrastructure and self-service tooling.
  • Maintain and enhance a mature multi-cloud platform across AWS and Google Cloud.
  • Drive automation and platform improvements to increase efficiency and reliability.
  • Provide architectural oversight and ensure alignment with security and cloud standards.
  • Support multidisciplinary teams with technical leadership, guidance, and best practice.
  • Contribute to governance, policy development, and cyber security standards.
  • Promote sustainable, inclusive, and transparent engineering practices.
  • Mentor junior engineers and support the growth and development of the Cloud Engineering team.
Key Requirements
  • Strong experience in cloud engineering and enterprise-scale infrastructure.
  • Proven expertise with AWS and/or Google Cloud platforms.
  • Passion for automation, DevOps, and platform engineering.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and leadership skills.
  • Strong understanding of security, governance, and cloud best practices.
  • Experience mentoring junior engineers and leading technical teams.
  • Public sector experience is preferred.
