We are looking for an experienced Cloud Engineer to help shape and deliver secure, scalable, and high-performing cloud infrastructure across a multi-cloud environment (AWS & Google Cloud).
Key Responsibilities- Lead the design, delivery, and optimisation of cloud infrastructure and self-service tooling.
- Maintain and enhance a mature multi-cloud platform across AWS and Google Cloud.
- Drive automation and platform improvements to increase efficiency and reliability.
- Provide architectural oversight and ensure alignment with security and cloud standards.
- Support multidisciplinary teams with technical leadership, guidance, and best practice.
- Contribute to governance, policy development, and cyber security standards.
- Promote sustainable, inclusive, and transparent engineering practices.
- Mentor junior engineers and support the growth and development of the Cloud Engineering team.
- Strong experience in cloud engineering and enterprise-scale infrastructure.
- Proven expertise with AWS and/or Google Cloud platforms.
- Passion for automation, DevOps, and platform engineering.
- Excellent stakeholder management and leadership skills.
- Strong understanding of security, governance, and cloud best practices.
- Experience mentoring junior engineers and leading technical teams.
- Public sector experience is preferred.
