Permanent, £40-£50k per annum, hybrid (2 days per week onsite in London or Brighton). We are currently working with a consultancy who are looking for an IT Manager to lead their IT Operations. This is a hands-on role, ensuring the smooth, secure and effective operation of our client's digital systems while strengthening information governance, reporting, and data-driven decision making.
Working closely with the Group Operations Director, you will take ownership of our core platforms including Microsoft 365 (Exchange, SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive), and play a key role in improving processes, analysing business data, and enhancing information security practices.
Responsibilities:
- Administer and continuously improve core business systems (M365, project management, HR and finance platforms).
- Act as SharePoint Online administrator, managing architecture, permissions and governance.
- Extract, clean, analyse and interpret data from project, HR and finance systems to generate meaningful insights for leadership.
- Design and maintain dashboards and Management Information (MI) reports (e.g. Power BI) to support operational and strategic decisions.
- Use Python to automate data processing, reporting workflows, and system integrations.
- Develop and maintain simple API integrations to improve data flow and reduce manual handling.
- Promote strong cyber awareness, GDPR compliance, and secure information practices.
Requirements:
- Strong analytical and data-handling skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Confidence working independently with a proactive, service-oriented mindset.
- Solid Microsoft 365 skills and interest in SharePoint/Power Platform.
- Basic Python scripting ability and understanding of APIs/JSON.
- Clear communicator who can explain technical concepts to non-technical colleagues.
- Aware of information security and GDPR principles.
