Initial 6 month contract, £500pd outside IR35, hybrid (2-3 days per week onsite).

We are working with a Local Authority in the Midlands, who are seeking an experienced Service Delivery / Infrastructure Lead to support a key period of supplier and service review activity. The role will focus on reviewing several infrastructure and network supplier contracts due for renewal over the next six months. You will lead service performance assessments, support renewal vs. re-tender decisions, and help ensure services remain aligned to operational and strategic requirements. Alongside supplier and contract oversight, the role will also have responsibility for IT service delivery operations, including oversight of the helpdesk/service desk function.

Key Experience Required:

  • Strong background in IT Service Delivery and Infrastructure leadership
  • Experience managing or reviewing infrastructure/network supplier contracts
  • Service performance review and supplier management experience
  • Oversight of helpdesk/service desk operations
  • Public sector experience essential
  • Local Government experience highly desirable
  • Knowledge of ITIL service management principles
  • PRINCE2 or ITIL certification desirable
