Initial 3 month contract, £600-£700pd inside IR35, hybrid – 1 day per week in Essex

We are currently looking for a Head of Architecture to join a public sector organisation on a contract basis. The role will be responsible for leading and driving strategic oversight, coordination, and leadership across Enterprise, Solution and Technical Architecture.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead architectural design and strategy to meet objectives and priorities.
  • Ensure collaboration across all technical teams to deliver high-quality customer services.
  • Develop and implement innovative, evidence-based solutions to emerging complex issues.
  • Translate business strategy into enterprise-wide service architecture and processes.
  • Provide expert advice on service design and digital transformation.
  • Ensure continuous service improvement and design for accessibility and impact.
  • Lead a team of Enterprise, Solution, Technical and Security Architects.

Requirements:

  • Proven leadership skills and experience driving change in complex environments.
  • Experience in setting up architectural blueprints / roadmaps.
  • Expertise in technical standards (TOGAF, SIAM, ITIL).
  • Experience with Microsoft Technologies (Azure, M365, OneDrive, InTune, etc.)
