We are currently seeking an experienced Data Solutions Architect to join a Charity on an initial 3-month contract to carry out a discovery assessment of its data and integration architecture. The organisation has recently defined its Data Strategy, Governance and Quality frameworks and now needs urgent clarity on whether its current data architecture can reliably support future reporting, analytics and integration needs.
The Role
You will conduct a rapid but thorough review of the existing data, ETL and integration landscape, identifying risks, scalability constraints and opportunities for improvement. The focus is on stabilising and improving integrations, enabling scalable reporting and analytics, and defining practical, decision-ready architecture recommendations.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess current data flows, integrations, ETL pipelines and reporting architecture
- Identify fragility, technical debt and operational risks
- Evaluate reporting scalability and analytics readiness (Power BI environment)
- Engage senior stakeholders and translate technical findings into business impact
- Produce clear, non-technical recommendations to inform investment decisions
