If so, Global Resourcing are looking to speak to Java Engineers with an IT consultancy and public sector background to support our client on a number of projects using Java, 7/8, Angular, React and Node (desirable). This consultancy prides itself on technical excellence and making full use of the team's expertise to deliver high-quality outcomes. This is a great opportunity to join as a Full Stack Engineer, contributing to the growth of the team and delivering solutions across a range of projects.
Key Responsibilities- Work across the full development lifecycle, from requirements and design through to build, testing, deployment, and support
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand requirements and align with team objectives
- Contribute to multiple projects in a consulting environment
- Promote and apply engineering best practices across teams and projects
- Significant hands-on experience as a Full Stack Engineer
- Commercial experience with Java (7/8 to current versions)
- Experience with modern front-end frameworks (e.g. Angular, React)
- Experience with Spring or JAX-RS/JAX-WS, JPA
- Experience with RESTful services, Hibernate, Docker, Terraform, GitHub, Jenkins
- SQL and test-driven development (TDD/BDD)
- Experience working with cloud platforms (AWS or Azure; GCP beneficial)
- Experience with unit testing frameworks (e.g. Karma, Jasmine)
