As a member of a focused development team, you will design, develop, and maintain scripts that automate the injection of demo data into Global Relay's production and demo environments. Your work will directly support sales demonstrations and enhance our global software delivery.
Responsibilities
- Write PowerShell and Python scripts to automate demo data injection into production systems for the Sales team.
- Develop reusable, scalable, and efficient code.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams and stakeholders to ensure seamless delivery of software.
- Script and automate tasks across multiple platforms (Windows/Linux).
- Create tools and utilities that improve system administration.
- Troubleshoot and optimize existing PowerShell scripts.
- Participate in CI/CD processes using tools such as Jenkins, Bamboo, GitLab CI, CircleCI, or Travis CI.
- Attend the office 4 days per week in accordance with Global Relay's hybrid working policy.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of hands‑on PowerShell scripting experience.
- 5+ years of hands‑on Python development experience.
- Knowledge of Windows Server operations, service accounts, and task scheduling.
- Experience writing Python code that accesses REST APIs and handles JSON data structures.
- Strong debugging and performance‑tuning skills for automation workflows.
- Proficient with version control systems such as Git.
- Experience working with the EML email message format.
- Excellent problem‑solving and communication skills.
- Ability to provide exceptional communication and collaboration within a distributed team.
- Proficiency with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Bamboo, GitLab CI, CircleCI, or Travis CI.
- Legal right to work in the UK; Global Relay does not offer visa sponsorship.
