About the role:
The HR Lead will provide strategic and operational HR leadership across the UK and EMEA region while maintaining hands-on responsibility for their own portfolio of HR initiatives. This role will oversee a small HR team of approximately five professionals, ensuring that HR programs and policies are implemented effectively and consistently. The successful candidate will act as a trusted partner to business leaders, supporting a defined business unit while also driving broader regional HR strategies. The role will report directly to the HR Director – UK & EMEA.

Duties and responsibilities:
- Lead and develop a high-performing HR team, providing guidance, coaching and support to ensure operational excellence.
- Conduct weekly 1:1 with team members and annual performance reviews.
- Serve as the primary HR business partner for a defined business unit within EMEA, taking ownership of all HR matters for that unit.
- Drive end-to-end HR processes including talent management, performance management, workforce planning, and employee engagement.
- Provide hands-on support in areas such as recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, and HR policy implementation.
- Partner with regional and global HR colleagues to ensure data accuracy and integrity, as well as consistency in HR programs and compliance with local employment laws.
- Assist in HR compliance audits and prepare evidence.
- Identify and implement initiatives that enhance employee experience and strengthen organizational culture across the region.
- Analyze HR metrics and provide actionable insights to leadership.
- Support organizational change initiatives, including recruitment, promotions and succession planning.
About you:
- 10 + years of proven experience as a Senior HR business partner or HR lead, ideally within a multi-country EMEA context.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and manage a small team while maintaining hands-on operational involvement.
- Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Excellent detail orientation and tactfulness.
- Experience in a variety of HR programs, including performance management, and employee engagement programs.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize competing demands, and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
- An understanding of immigration law and related processes would be beneficial to support our international recruitment and mobility needs.
- CIPD desirable.
- SaaS or Technology industry experience desirable
