We are currently looking for experienced Fabricator/Welders and Welders to work for one of our clients in the Burton on Trent area. The client is a well-established family-run business, offering fabrication engineering, repair welding, and construction services. Due to their wide range of products, most of which are bespoke, the work is both interesting and varied and will involve either the fabrication of large metal structures, working from engineering drawings, from base materials through to finished product and/or the welding together of the aforementioned products.
The main duties of the Fabricator Welders will include some or all of the following:
- Working with Mild Steel
- Marking out
- Metal preparation
- Cutting
- Bending
- Assembly
- Welding using MIG process

The ideal candidates must be experienced Fabricators and/or Welders and the ability to carry out MIG welding to a high standard is essential. For the Fabricator Welders, previous experience of working on the fabrication of a wide range of material thicknesses is also required. In addition, the ability to carry out plating/fabrication activities such as cutting, rolling, bending etc. and the ability to work from drawings will also be essential.
