We are currently looking for an experienced Press Brake Operator to work for one of our clients on a long-term/temp to perm basis. The company is a well-known manufacturer of metal components and structures to a range of industry sectors including rail and construction, and this is an excellent opportunity to join a rapidly expanding and successful organisation. Based in their modern premises in Burton on Trent, this Press Brake Operative role will include the following duties:
- Operate a press brake to manufacture tools, equipment, and other components from sheet metal or metal plates.
- Prepare, set up, and adjust the press brake as required by product plans and production schedules.
- Ensure that there are sufficient raw materials available.
- Measure and align materials to be used.
- Inspect products, evaluating finished pieces for compliance with quality standards and specifications.
- Perform basic routine maintenance on the press brake.
Applicants must be experienced Press Brake Operators and be able to read and understand production drawings and schedules. A proven track record in setting and operating a Press Brake is essential. This is an excellent opportunity with a good possibility of permanent work for the right candidate.
