We are currently looking for Mechanical Fitters to join one of our clients on a temp to perm basis. Working on a variety of heavy engineering/engineering construction sites around the UK.
The client is a market-leading manufacturer, supplier and installer of specialist rotating equipment to a range of industry sectors including heavy engineering, power generation and petro-chemical.
The role will include carrying out a range of duties including helping to remove a wide range of equipment, the planned and preventative maintenance of equipment and breakdown repairs. Sites are most likely to be based in Humberside and Bedfordshire but there may be the possibility of work on other sites around the UK.
Applicants must be experienced Mechanical Fitters with a proven track record of working in a heavy engineering/engineering construction environment. The ability to read and understand engineering drawings is preferable. Previous experience of working away on site is preferred as is experience of working in heavy engineering and construction environments. A relevant recognised qualification is also desirable although not essential.
A current CCNSG Site Safety Passport is useful but not essential.
NEACI “Blue Book” rates will apply which will include travel expenses Lodge and travel time.
