We are currently looking for Mechanical Fitters to join one of our clients on a contract basis, working on a large heavy engineering/engineering construction site The client is a market-leading manufacturer, supplier and installer of specialist rotating equipment to a range of industry sectors including heavy engineering, power generation and petro-chemical. The role will include carrying out a range of mechanical fitting duties including helping to remove a wide range of equipment, the planned and preventative maintenance of equipment and breakdown repairs and the installation of new equipment Applicants must be experienced Mechanical Fitters ideally with a proven track record of working in a heavy engineering/engineering construction environment. The ability to read and understand engineering drawings is preferable. Previous experience of mechanical fitting is preferred as is experience of working in heavy engineering and construction environments. A relevant recognised qualification is also desirable although not essential.
