We are currently looking for Riggers to join one of our clients on a contract basis. Working on a variety of heavy engineering/engineering construction sites around the UK and Ireland. The client is a market-leading manufacturer, supplier and installer of specialist rotating equipment to a range of industry sectors including heavy engineering, power generation and petro-chemical.
The role will include carrying out a range of rigging duties including helping to remove a wide range of equipment, carrying out slinging and working on the lift and movement of a range of equipment during planned outages. Sites are based around the UK.
Applicants must be experienced Riggers ideally with a proven track record of working in a heavy engineering/engineering construction environment. Previous experience of slinging and lifting large items is essential and experience of working on site in heavy engineering and construction environments is preferred. A relevant recognised qualification is also essential. A current CCNSG Site Safety Passport is required.
NEACI “Blue Book” rates will apply to this mechanical fitting role which will include overtime, travel expenses, lodge and travel time. This is an excellent opportunity to join a major world leader in their field with the chance to work on some very prestigious and interesting sites.
