A permanent vacancy has arisen within our client's Production Engineering Section for Fabricators & Welders. Please note the main base for this position is Falkirk.
Rate of Pay: £17ph, 39 hours pw with guaranteed O/T (Time & a half)
Fabricator Requirements:
- Fabricate steel components from fabrication drawings (beams, brackets, staircases, platforms, etc.).
- Ensure work meets quality and safety standards.
- Previous experience in steel fabrication (minimum 2 years preferred).
- Strong ability to read and interpret fabrication drawings.
- Skilled with hand tools, fabrication machinery, and measuring equipment.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- CSCS card or equivalent health and safety qualification (preferred).
Welder Key Responsibilities:
- Weld and fabricate structural steel components including beams, columns, and frames.
- Read and interpret fabrication drawings.
- Conduct visual weld inspections and quality checks.
- Maintain a safe and tidy work environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in structural steel welding and fabrication.
- Proficiency in MIG welding.
- Valid welding certifications; CSCS card would be an advantage.
- Strong attention to detail and a proactive attitude.
