Global Recruitment Staff Ltd is currently seeking experienced Fabricator Welders to join a highly skilled and supportive team working on major structural steel projects across Central Scotland. This is an excellent opportunity for dependable, detail-focused welders looking for consistent dayshift work, strong earnings, and genuine long-term prospects.

Working Pattern – Dayshift Only

  • Monday – Thursday
  • 7:00am – 5:15pm
  • Enjoy a 4-day working week
  • Regular weekly overtime available

Pay Rates

  • Dayshift Rate: £22 per hour
  • Attractive overtime rates available
  • Paid via CIS or PAYE Umbrella (flexible options available)
  • Enhanced overtime rates during 13-week probation period

Key Responsibilities

  • Working from detailed engineering and fabrication drawings
  • Fabricating and welding structural steel and aluminium components
  • MIG and TIG welding (including aluminium work)
  • Cutting, grinding, shaping, and assembling steel structures
  • Operating fabrication equipment and overhead cranes
  • Carrying out quality checks to tight tolerances
  • Working closely with supervisors and team members to deliver high-quality output

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven experience in structural steel fabrication and welding
  • Strong MIG and TIG welding skills
  • Confident in reading and interpreting engineering drawings
  • High attention to detail with pride in workmanship
  • Reliable, safety-conscious, and team-oriented approach
