Global Recruitment Staff Ltd is currently seeking experienced Fabricator Welders to join a highly skilled and supportive team working on major structural steel projects across Central Scotland. This is an excellent opportunity for dependable, detail-focused welders looking for consistent dayshift work, strong earnings, and genuine long-term prospects.
Working Pattern – Dayshift Only
- Monday – Thursday
- 7:00am – 5:15pm
- Enjoy a 4-day working week
- Regular weekly overtime available
Pay Rates
- Dayshift Rate: £22 per hour
- Attractive overtime rates available
- Paid via CIS or PAYE Umbrella (flexible options available)
- Enhanced overtime rates during 13-week probation period
Key Responsibilities
- Working from detailed engineering and fabrication drawings
- Fabricating and welding structural steel and aluminium components
- MIG and TIG welding (including aluminium work)
- Cutting, grinding, shaping, and assembling steel structures
- Operating fabrication equipment and overhead cranes
- Carrying out quality checks to tight tolerances
- Working closely with supervisors and team members to deliver high-quality output
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience in structural steel fabrication and welding
- Strong MIG and TIG welding skills
- Confident in reading and interpreting engineering drawings
- High attention to detail with pride in workmanship
