The predicted salary is between 16 - 22 £ per hour.
Due to continued growth and expansion, we are seeking two experienced Pipe Fitters to join our team on a permanent basis. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a reputable engineering environment, with the potential for site work, enhanced allowances, bonuses, and accommodation where applicable.
Pay Rates
- PAYE: £20.01/hour – Normal Time
- PAYE: £28.01/hour – Overtime
- CIS: £23.00/hour – Standard
- CIS: £27.85/hour – Overtime
Role Overview
You will undertake a full range of pipefitting duties across various materials and systems. Experience in welding to a coded standard is advantageous but not essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Cutting, prepping, and tacking carbon steel, stainless steel, and dairy pipe
- Working with thin wall metric and hygienic stainless, as well as schedule stainless and carbon
- Fabricating skids, spools, and welded pipework
- Using workshop machinery, tools, and equipment
- Supporting overtime and weekend work as required
Primary Objectives
- Deliver high-quality pipefitting work with strong attention to detail
- Ensure all tasks are carried out safely and in line with company standards
- Contribute effectively within a team environment
Required Skills & Experience
- Time-served Pipe Fitter (or minimum 4 years’ experience in a similar role)
- Strong understanding of pipefitting techniques and fabrication processes
- Knowledge of welding procedures (an advantage)
- Conscientious, reliable, and committed to high-quality workmanship
- Demonstrates integrity, accountability, and a positive team attitude
