Pipe Fitter
Due to expansion and growth permanent positions have arisen for Pipe Fitter x2. Please note that the main base for this role will be Northumberland.
Pay Rates
£20.01 NT & £28.01 O/T (PAYE) OR £23 per hour – Overtime £27.85 (CIS) (Possibility of site work with allowances, bonus & accommodation on offer).
Job Description
Able to carry out all pipefitting duties, if you can weld to a coded standard (Advantageous)
Working on mainly thin wall metric and hygienic stainless, also schedule stainless and carbon.
Working on skids, spools & pipes (welded NOT screwed pipe)
Overtime and weekend working required.
Primary Objectives
Cutting, prepping and tacking carbon and stainless including dairy pipe
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Time served pipe fitter must be conscientious in approach all fitting work to ensure high standards and quality.
Act with honesty, integrity and accountability
Ability to work well in a team
Qualifications and Experience Requirements
Time served / Qualified preferred but not essential. At least 4 years\’ experience in the above role. Knowledge of welding and fabrication would be an advantage – operation and procedures as required for the role and may include:
Cutting, prepping and tacking carbon and stainless including dairy pipe
Machine/workshop power tools and machinery.
