We are currently recruiting for an experienced Painter to join a busy and growing team carrying out repairs and maintenance within social housing across Renfrewshire, Glasgow, and surrounding areas.

This is a temp-to-perm opportunity offering consistent work, excellent earning potential, and the opportunity to secure a permanent position with a company vehicle following a successful probation period.

The Role

  • Carrying out internal and external painting and decorating within occupied social housing properties
  • Completing responsive repairs and maintenance works
  • Supporting void properties when required
  • Delivering high-quality workmanship while meeting company performance standards
  • Using the sim PRO job management system to record jobs and progress

  • Proven experience as a Painter, ideally within social housing or repairs and maintenance
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Own van preferred initially
  • Strong work ethic with excellent timekeeping and reliability
  • Ability to work independently and deliver work to a high standard
  • Comfortable using a mobile job management system

We are looking for tradespeople who take pride in their work and understand the importance of professionalism and productivity.

Working hours are strictly 8:00am–4:30pm, Monday to Friday. We have clear performance expectations, and reliability, punctuality, and commitment are essential to the role.

Overtime is available and paid at Time & a Half; however, all hours claimed must reflect actual time worked.
