Global Recruitment is seeking experienced Structural Steel Fabricators and Platers to join a skilled and professional team in Coatbridge. If you have experience in fabrication, plating, and delivering high-quality workmanship, this is the role for you!
What You’ll Do:
- Fabricate steel components accurately to engineering drawings
- Carry out plating work, including cutting, shaping, and assembling steel plates
- Work closely with welders and production teams to meet project requirements
- Operate fabrication machinery and hand tools safely
- Maintain quality standards on all work
- Follow health & safety procedures at all times
What We’re Looking For:
- Proven experience in structural steel fabrication and plating
- Skilled in cutting, bending, and assembling steel plates
- Experience on large or complex projects
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- Skilled in the use of fabrication and plating tools and machinery
- Strong attention to detail and precision
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
Working Hours:
- Day Shift: Mon–Fri, 08:00–16:00
- Night Shift: Mon–Fri, 20:00–06:00
- Overtime available after 39 hours
Pay & Benefits:
- Day Rate: £22 per hour
- Night Rate: £28 per hour
- Enhanced overtime rates available
- Flexible payment options: CIS / Umbrella (PAYE after 13 weeks)
- Immediate starts available
