We are currently recruiting for an Accounts Administrator / Finance Assistant to join a leading engineering company based in Coatbridge, North Lanarkshire. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a good level of finance and administration experience who is looking to join a successful business and become a valued member of the team.
The Role
The successful candidate will be a true all-rounder, supporting the finance and administration functions of the business. You will be someone who is organised, reliable and positive, with a willingness to learn and take on a variety of tasks. Key responsibilities will include:
- Managing Purchase Ledger
- Purchase Order processing
- Managing Sales Ledger
- Customer account administration and customer chasing
- Supporting with general finance and administrative duties
- Payroll experience would be advantageous
- Using a range of business and finance systems
- Assisting with any other tasks required to support the wider business
About You
We are looking for someone who:
- Has a decent level of experience in finance, accounts or administration
- Has experience with Purchase Ledger and/or Sales Ledger
- Has good systems knowledge and is confident learning new systems
