A well-established main contractor is seeking an experienced Contracts Manager to join their growing team, based in their Dungannon office. This is an excellent opportunity for a construction professional to take a leading role in the delivery of multiple residential and commercial projects across Northern Ireland with a busy and expanding contractor. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the successful delivery of several live projects, ensuring works are completed safely, on programme, within budget, and to a high standard of quality. This role would suit an experienced Contracts Manager with a strong background in residential and/or commercial construction within the UK or Irish markets.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the delivery of multiple residential and commercial construction projects from pre-construction through to completion.
- Manage site management teams, subcontractors, and key project stakeholders across multiple sites.
- Ensure projects are delivered on programme, within budget, and in line with company quality standards.
- Coordinate project planning, sequencing, and resource allocation across several live contracts.
- Monitor construction progress and proactively address issues impacting delivery or programme.
- Liaise with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and senior management teams.
- Ensure strict adherence to health & safety regulations and company compliance standards.
- Review project performance including budgets, procurement, forecasting, and reporting.
- Drive quality assurance and ensure works are delivered to specification and client expectations.
- Support the commercial and operational success of all projects under your control.
Requirements
- Degree qualified in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline (desirable).
- Minimum 8–10 years’ experience within the construction industry.
- Previous experience in a Contracts Manager or Senior Project Manager role is essential.
- Strong background in residential and/or commercial building projects.
- UK or Irish construction experience required.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
- Strong commercial awareness with proven programme management ability.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and site teams simultaneously.
