Are you an experienced Senior Engineering Manager with a passion for leading and inspiring high-performing engineering teams? Thredd is looking for you to join our dynamic team and drive the delivery of innovative technology solutions in the fintech sector!
What you'll be doing as a Senior Engineering Manager:
- Leadership & Team Management: Lead, mentor, and develop a team of software engineers, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture. Conduct regular performance reviews and provide feedback and coaching.
- Project Management: Plan, coordinate, and oversee engineering projects from conception to completion. Work closely with product management, design, and other stakeholders to prioritize and plan feature development and releases.
- Technical Oversight: Provide technical guidance in software design, coding, and deployment. Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices.
- Process Improvement: Identify areas for improvement in development processes, tools, and infrastructure. Implement CI/CD practices to enhance our delivery pipeline.
What you will bring to the Senior Engineering Manager role:
- Excellent leadership and people management skills.
- Strong understanding of software development methodologies (FDD, Agile, Scrum).
- Experience with AWS cloud platforms and SDLC tools (e.g., Jira, Bitbucket).
Where you'll work:
This Senior Engineering Manager position requires you to be in the London office (Holborn) minimum two days per week.
