We are seeking an experienced Pricing Specialist Consultant to join our high-impact, data driven consulting team at GPI – a leader in global pharmaceutical pricing and market access. We combine deep industry expertise with proprietary data and technology to help our clients navigate complex international markets and make confident, evidence-based decisions.

Role Overview

In this role, you will deliver strategic, high-value projects that shape pricing and market access strategies for leading pharmaceutical and biotech companies worldwide. You will work across international reference pricing (IRP), value-based pricing (VBP), reimbursement landscapes and pricing methods (e.g., Gabor-Granger, Van Westendorp, conjoint analysis) and contracting models, translating complex market data insights into clear, actionable strategies that drive commercial success.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced pricing consultant who thrives on turning complex data and market dynamics into clear, strategic recommendations. You will work in a collaborative environment with subject matter experts across data and technology and can contribute to both client delivery and the growth of our consulting practice.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and pursue opportunities in line with GPI’s strategic priorities.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership on scoping and structuring client proposals.
  • Support business development activities with subject matter expertise (SME), proposal input, and client presentations.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor.

Project delivery

  • Lead and execute data driven pricing projects across global markets, delivering actionable insights and strategic recommendations.
  • Apply deep expertise in IRP, VBP, reimbursement, quantitative pricing research techniques (e.g., Gabor-Granger, Van Westendorp, conjoint), and contracting models to deliver robust, evidence-based recommendations.
  • Ensure all deliverables meet GPI’s consultancy standards and client expectations.
  • Provide guidance, coaching and structured feedback to consulting team members.
  • Support smooth handovers business development to project delivery.

Thought leadership

  • Monitor and interpret global pricing and market access policy developments.
  • Contribute to internal knowledge sharing and cross-functional training.
  • Represent GPI at industry conferences and forums as required.

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in Market Access & Pricing (MA&P) consulting, with at least 3 years focused on pharmaceutical pricing.
  • Proven expertise in IRP, VBP, reimbursement, pricing research methods (e.g., Gabor-Granger, Van Westendorp, conjoint), and contracting models.
  • Strong track record in delivering complex consulting projects on time and within budget.
  • End-to-end client engagement experience, from opportunity identification through delivery.
  • Advanced analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex datasets and distil them into strategic insights.
  • Demonstrated leadership or mentoring capability.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in life sciences, business, economics, or related discipline (Master’s preferred).
