Purpose
As the UK Marketing lead generation and lead distribution, establishing and building a dealer channel, being the primary liaison for the direct sales channels, owning the ongoing development of the pricing strategy, being accountable for channel forecasting and sales targets. Alongside these GTM activities, the successful candidate will also develop a pipeline which will ensure that they execute their own sales ensuring that the channel achieves its revenue targets. As a subject matter expert in the QSR and Hospitality POS sector, you will work closely with product owners to provide feedback from prospects and clients for the enhancement of products. You will be expected to proactively maximise all opportunities within the target market sector to drive sales performance. The role will lead on activities that support the Genius Restaurant strategy co‑ordinating activities across a number of areas including Sales, Customer Solutions, Product and Marketing. The role will require in‑depth knowledge of the UK QSR and Hospitality POS market.
Duties and Responsibilities
- A deep industry understanding of QSR and Hospitality POS solutions and the competitive market including current and future features and benefits requirements.
- A deep industry understanding of the POS dealer network and modes of operation.
- Ability to create and drive strategy.
- Ability to positively engage peers, partners, customers, internal stakeholders and C‑Suite stakeholders with impact.
- Demonstrate a robust experience history in the UK QSR and Hospitality POS solutions sector.
- Generate leads and develop your own lead strategy using your established network.
- Demonstrate a robust healthy pipeline using recognised sales methodology.
- Monitor progress to plan as required, and prepare contingency plans to ensure objectives are met.
- Represent Global Payments at industry events - maintain a strong public profile.
- Provide accurate and timely market information to help drive the future marketing and product strategies.
- Any other responsibilities as required from time to time.
