Purpose

A Sales Performance Analyst has a strong understanding of the sales process and associated funnel, with the ability to measure the different stages of the funnel from advert/campaign to live, drawing out return on investment. The analyst will guide future strategy and develop specific campaign tracking, incorporating ROI data. By using raw data to identify trends and issues, the analyst creates purposeful MI and automated dashboards through Google’s suite of tools that help our business evaluate sales performance. The analyst also crafts value‑adding commentary that helps identify gaps and explore opportunities to hit, and exceed, revenue and sales targets; making the complex simple. Accurate production of weekly, monthly, and ad‑hoc sales reports is a key deliverable, alongside driving adoption of our standardised sales stages by users to maintain CRM data integrity and report confidence.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Produce accurate and timely monthly and quarterly Sales & On‑boarding & MI that align with our UK&I strategic goals.
  • Add value through commentary and insight, ensuring all MI tells a story via dashboards and scorecards.
  • Maintain strong attention to detail, as certain reports may be used for external partner governance, regulatory reporting, and sales commission calculations.
  • Provide tactical admin support for regional Salesforce users and cover the regional Salesforce lead when required.
  • Extract correct data from the CRM when a new reporting requirement is identified, producing a user‑friendly report or dashboard with relevant KPI commentary.
  • Collaborate closely with stakeholders at all levels, communicating clearly and confidently with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to influence.
  • Empower Sales Leaders and stakeholders with insight and direction as a key business partner.

Competencies

  • Strong background in Sales Operations / Sales Performance Analysis (minimum 2 years), covering the end‑to‑end sales funnel.
  • Good understanding of Salesforce (or similar CRM) and its integration with Pardot, Dialpad, and Google Data Studio.
  • Ability to create meaningful, clear dashboards that add value through commentary.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and presentation communication skills.
  • Proficiency in manipulating large data sets to identify and articulate relevant trends and KPIs.
  • Ability to work under tight timescales, prioritise effectively, and innovate to streamline reporting.
  • Strong analytical skills, self‑motivated, high performing, and goal oriented.
  • Highly numerate and confident user of Excel and Google products (Google Data Studio, Sheets, Slides).

Qualifications

  • Graduate or actively studying toward a relevant degree or professional qualification (e.g., business information systems, mathematics, finance, or data science), or equivalent experience.
