PURPOSE
The global marketing function of Global Payments is responsible for Brand, Product Marketing, Growth and Revenue Performance for the Merchant Acquirer Solutions of Global Payments. The ISV Marketing Manager is a business-critical role within the UK & I marketing team and will have a significant impact on revenue growth for ISV partnerships. This person will be responsible for planning and managing marketing-initiated partnership activities in the UK & Ireland. Working closely supporting the Partnership Team’s strategy and revenue goals, you will work with partners to grow joint marketing initiatives based on current market trends, competitors and acquisition lead plans. This high-impact role requires a results-driven marketer who is innovative, takes initiative, and has a deep understanding of the customer. They should have extensive experience running campaigns that align within the guidelines and deadlines given by our associated partners, the partnership leadership team and the customer decision journey.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Define industry verticals and audience target groups in collaboration with the partnership strategy and leaders.
- Conduct market research to develop prospect personas and relevant targeting strategy.
- Map target audiences, relevant messages, content, and tactics to the customer journey, resulting in cohesive campaign plans.
- Identify and maximise Global Payments’ exposure at key industry events, ensuring partnership teams are supported with event collateral.
- Work with the Sales function to determine priority prospect lists and lead workflow.
- Qualify and nurture leads through various channels.
- Develop, implement and optimise supporting lead generation strategies.
- Collaborate with sales and digital marketing teams to align lead generation efforts, in region and internationally.
- Track and analyse lead generation metrics to measure performance.
- Continuously improve lead generation processes and tactics.
- Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices.
- Ensure compliance with data protection and privacy regulations.
- Provide regular reports and insights to stakeholders.
- Create compelling campaigns that align with our brand message and drive strong conversion.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure successful content delivery and campaign execution.
- Identify strategic opportunities to enhance our partner acquisition efforts and implement innovative processes and strategies.
- Drive maximum return on investment and cross-channel efficiency.
- Measure & optimise campaign performance to achieve revenue growth goals; provide recommendations to improve engagement and conversion.
- Provide ongoing campaign performance, insights, and goal pacing to internal stakeholders, leaders and third parties (partners).
- Collaborate with International Marketing, wider Digital Marketing, and Partner Marketing counterparts to extend campaigns into other go-to-market channels and audiences.
- Evaluate new suppliers, manage campaign budget and related supplier onboarding.
- Present campaign updates at marketing all-hands meetings and other forums on a regular basis.
COMPETENCIES (KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS or ABILITIES / BEHAVIOUR)
- Minimum of 7 years’ experience ideally in B2B partnership and/or growth marketing - ideally with proven ISV experience.
- Proven track record of building and executing highly engaging, revenue-driven marketing programmes.
- Demonstrated understanding of integrated campaign architecture and the customer decision journey.
- Strong relationship builder and high collaborator with Partners, Sales, marketing leadership, and other stakeholders.
- Ability to leverage analytics, marketing automation, and CRM tools to derive campaign performance insights.
- Resourceful marketer who is self-motivated and disciplined with the ability to define and achieve objectives with limited oversight.
- Excellent communication skills, particularly when articulating findings in meaningful, clear ways to leadership stakeholders with an emphasis on actionable insights.
- Experience with payments, point of sale, or ecommerce highly preferred.

- Degree in Marketing or similar discipline.
