Summary of This Role
As the UK&I Product Manager for Digital Payments at Global Payments, you will oversee the development, enhancement, and management of our Card Not Present solutions, including eCommerce, Virtual Terminal, Pay by Link and eCom in a box, for that region.
Your primary mission is to drive innovation by creating features that improve transaction efficiency, enhance the user experience, and ensure we meet the revenue commitments agreed with the business.
The role will report directly to the Head of Product for UK&I and will be pivotal in helping the business become the commerce platform of choice for SMBs in the region.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Work with Head of Product to craft a compelling vision for GP\’s Digital Payments products in UK&I,, ensuring alignment with evolving market needs and customer expectations in the region
- Collaborate closely with product owners, delivery teams, commercial teams, any relevant internal stakeholders, and customers to drive the success of your initiatives
- Manage incoming requests from other GP teams, using critical thinking to prioritise, defer, or postpone them, while clearly communicating the rationale behind your decisions
- Establish yourself as a domain expert for the Digital Payments products family and stay updated on the latest industry trends
- Work with the wider Global Payments business to ensure business and commercial readiness for successful launch and ongoing scale, driving revenue growth, in control
- Continuously monitor product performance and user satisfaction, proactively identifying areas for improvement. Gather and analyse customer feedback to drive iterative enhancements that improve the overall experience
Competencies (Knowledge / Skills / Behavior)
- Experience – You have 4+ years of experience in the product management domain, along with relevant experience in Digital Payments and eCommerce
- Mindset – You have an entrepreneurial mindset and don\’t sit around and wait until things happen by themselves
- Adaptability and creativity – Plans and conditions always change, but you still navigate through any weather with a positive and constructive attitude
- Relationships – You enjoy working with colleagues ranging from developers, data analysts and engineers, to operations and commercial teams, and feel comfortable speaking with our merchants & partners
- Curiosity and technical affinity – You are motivated by challenges, a quick learner with outstanding analytical skills, and unafraid to dive deep into complex technical subjects
