Location: Ubud, Bali
Duration: Minimum 3 weeks
Cost: amount for the first 4 weeks + amount for each additional week
Fee includes: all food, accommodation, pre‑departure and in‑country support, orientation and all project related activities
Does not include: flights, travel insurance, personal spending, visas and vaccinations

Responsibilities
Work closely with local NGOs and Balinese farming communities to improve environmental practices and standards. Possibility to contribute to ongoing projects and propose new ideas.
- Permaculture Workshop Construction: Build a training centre in primary rainforest using live trees as main structural support, with plans to add a second level as trees grow.
- Hydroelectric Plant Project: Build a natural pool fed by runoff from rice paddies, support fish farming, and use the runoff to power a hydro‑electric generator for nearby buildings.
- Waste‑water Management Projects: Design, install and maintain systems for restaurants, including septic tanks, garden irrigation and groundwater return.
- Permaculture Centre: Daily compost production, wormery maintenance, weeding, and participation in Friday workshops. Opportunity to add expertise and help with instructional materials.
- Mobile Rice Mill: Assist local staff in the operation of mobile rice mills, visiting villages, recording outputs and troubleshooting technical issues.
- Micro‑Infrastructure Construction and Maintenance: Participate in building biogas plants, hydro‑electric generators, wormeries and permaculture centres.
