We’re looking for a creative and highly organised Podcast Content Producer – Subscription to develop and deliver content across Global’s podcast slate within Global Studios. This role will primarily work across our news and factual podcasts.
As a Podcast Content Producer – Subscription at Global, you’ll work closely with the teams behind individual podcasts to create compelling content that adds value for audiences and strengthens engagement. You’ll typically work across at least two shows at a time, collaborating with Senior Producers, Executive Producers, Video Producers, Digital Content Producers and high-profile talent to deliver high-quality audio and visual content.
You’ll bring strong editorial instincts, excellent production judgement and the ability to thrive under deadline pressure. You should be confident working independently while also contributing positively to a collaborative team environment. Strong audio editing skills are essential, with video editing skills highly desirable.
Key Responsibilities
- Content Production (50%) - Produce engaging content across Global’s podcast slate, ensuring it aligns with each podcast’s tone, brand and audience expectations.
- Creative Development & Collaboration (25%) - Work across at least two podcasts at a time, generating ideas for content and collaborating closely with Senior Producers, Executive Producers, Video Producers, Social Producers and on-air talent.
- Editing, Delivery & Workflow (25%) - Edit audio to a high standard, support the creation of video-led content where required, manage multiple priorities and deadlines, and maintain excellent production values, accuracy and consistency across all output.
