Your new role

We're hiring a commercially driven Growth Marketing Lead to own how we acquire and grow our audience across paid media, SEO and CRO. This is a role that demands both strategic thinking and hands-on execution. You'll set the direction for how we grow, make smart decisions about where to invest, and roll up your sleeves to build and optimise the campaigns that get us there. You'll take full ownership of our performance marketing, using testing and insight to find opportunities across the full funnel - and bring the commercial thinking that connects channel activity to real business outcomes. This role is suited to a highly analytical marketer with exceptional capability to drive performance across multiple marketing channels. You will be responsible for developing and executing customer acquisition strategies that deliver against our commercial goals.

Reporting into the Head of Marketing, this is a genuine opportunity to build something significant in a function where your work will have direct and visible impact.

Key Responsibilities

  • Growth Marketing Strategy (25%): Develop and own our growth marketing strategy across paid media, SEO and CRO, with a clear focus on driving customer acquisition and delivering against our commercial targets.
  • Performance Media Management (20%): Build and own a high-performing paid media programme across search, social and display.
  • SEO (10%): Own our organic search performance - from technical SEO health to ranking and traffic growth.
  • CRO (15%): Lead our CRO programme across key landing pages and conversion points.
  • Analysis and Reporting (10%): Analyse and present performance insight to teams across the business to support data-driven decision making.
  • Budget Management (10%): Manage our growth marketing budget with a clear focus on ROI.
  • Innovation (5%): Stay close to the latest developments in growth marketing.
  • Collaboration (5%): Work closely with our Content, Brand, Operations and agency teams.

What You’ll Love About This Role

  • Think Big: Shape how a world-leading media and entertainment business grows.
  • Own It: Take full ownership of our performance marketing.
  • Keep it Simple: Turn complex performance data into clear, actionable insight.
  • Better Together: Work closely with our Content, Design, Operations, Product and agency teams.

What Success Looks Like

In your first few months, you’ll have:

  • Taken full ownership of our paid media strategy and hit the ground running with campaigns that are performing against our targets.
  • Built a clear and trusted performance reporting rhythm that leadership can rely on.
  • Developed a strong working relationship with our Content Marketing Manager, agencies and Operations team.
  • Identified where we can improve our channel mix and made a clear recommendation on where to invest.
  • Established a test and learn approach across paid, SEO and CRO that is already generating insight.
  • Demonstrated the commercial thinking and hands-on capability that makes you a central voice in how we grow.

What You’ll Need

  • Paid Media Expertise: 5+ years in performance marketing with paid media as your primary discipline.
  • Commercial Acumen: Your instinct when looking at data is what it means for our targets.
  • SEO and CRO: Solid working knowledge of SEO strategy and a track record of running CRO programmes.
  • Analytical Rigour: Hands-on experience with analytics and reporting tools.
  • Communication: Able to distil complexity and communicate performance, outcomes and learnings clearly.
  • Collaboration: Strong relationship-building skills across content, design, product and cross-functional partners.
  • Growth Mindset: Experimental, open to feedback, and always looking to learn.
  • Low Ego, High Impact: You are someone who gets stuck in, works collaboratively, and cares more about getting the right result than getting the credit.
  • Building Trust: Creating and maintaining an inclusive environment where diverse views and experiences are welcomed and celebrated in your team.
