As a Warehouse Operative at Global, you’ll support the efficient day-to-day running of our warehouse operation, helping to receive, process, organise, and dispatch materials for outdoor advertising campaigns. You’ll play an important part in making sure campaign materials are handled accurately, safely, and on time, while working closely with internal teams, suppliers, couriers, and fixers.

As a Warehouse Operative at Global, you will:

  • Warehouse Operations: Manage the movement of campaign materials in and out of the warehouse, including receipting, identifying, collating, palletising, labelling, and preparing stock for collection or onward distribution.
  • Stock Accuracy & Systems: Process materials and information accurately across Global systems, match items to campaign bookings, investigate discrepancies, and issue work instructions to fixing teams where required.
  • Operational Support & Compliance: Maintain a safe, tidy, and organised warehouse, complete scheduled equipment and infrastructure checks, respond to operational queries, and support wider delivery activity including audits, maintenance, driver cover, and specialist campaign work as needed.

What You'll Love About This Role:

  • Think Big: You’ll help bring major outdoor advertising campaigns to life, supporting work seen by audiences across bus, rail, roadside, and other environments.
  • Own It: You’ll take responsibility for handling materials accurately and safely, helping ensure campaigns are delivered on time and to a high standard.
  • Keep it Simple: You’ll work with clear processes and systems to keep stock moving efficiently and resolve issues quickly when they arise.
  • Better Together: You’ll work closely with warehouse colleagues, fixing teams, couriers, printers, and internal departments to keep operations running smoothly.

What Success Looks Like In your first few months, you’ll have:

  • Learned Global’s warehouse processes, systems, and safety requirements, building confidence in the day-to-day operation.
  • Built effective working relationships with internal teams, suppliers, couriers, and contractors.
  • Processed campaign materials accurately, ensuring bookings, quantities, and instructions are aligned.
  • Maintained a well-organised, safe warehouse environment that supports efficient delivery.
  • Supported campaign logistics across a range of formats, including bus, rail, and roadside advertising.
  • Responded positively to operational challenges, helping keep campaigns on track and within expected timescales.
  • Demonstrated reliability, flexibility, and a strong team ethic in support of the wider regional operation.

What You’ll Need:

  • Warehouse or Process Experience: Previous experience working in a warehouse, logistics, or similar operational environment.
  • Communication Skills: The ability to communicate clearly and professionally with colleagues, suppliers, couriers, and internal stakeholders.
  • Organisation & Attention to Detail: A careful, methodical approach to stock handling, system updates, and identifying discrepancies.
  • Teamwork & Flexibility: A positive, collaborative attitude, with willingness to support others and cover a range of operational tasks when needed.
  • Initiative & Reliability: Confidence to work independently, solve problems, and take responsibility for delivering work safely and on time.
  • Practical Requirements: A full clean manual driving licence is required; a forklift truck licence, First Aider training, and GCSE-level education or equivalent are desirable.
