An exciting opportunity has arisen for a paediatric dietitian at the Royal Free North Middlesex University Hospital (NMUH) site. We are seeking an enthusiastic dietitian interested in paediatrics, eager to develop their knowledge and experience, to join our friendly and dynamic team.
The role offers the possibility for less experienced dietitians to start at Band 5, with progression to Band 6 upon successful achievement of competencies within one year. The Dietetic Department is part of the Therapies group.
Key Responsibilities- Provide services to general paediatric inpatient wards, the Paediatric Assessment Unit, and outpatient clinics.
- Deliver education and training to patients, staff, and students, including supervising students on placement.
- Participate in audits, research, and service development initiatives.
- Develop educational resources and programs for patients, carers, and staff.
- Contribute to policy development and department projects.
- Participate in a seven-day service rota and support multidisciplinary team activities.
- Plan, organize, and oversee student training placements.
- Work with specialist paediatric dietitians in areas such as diabetes, neonatal, and allergy.
- Excellent clinical and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams.
- Willingness to undertake training and supervision as required.
