Join the Global LT community and help provide language lessons to business professionals and their families worldwide. We are currently hiring English Language Teachers to provide in-person customized lessons to children in London.

Job Information:

  • Face-to-face English classes for children, 7 and 2 years old (separate classes, back-to-back)
  • Location: in Marylebone Lane, W1U 2NZ (July), and then the family will move to Hampstead by August
  • Requested schedule: 3x a week; 1-hour lessons: Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday mornings
  • Preferred start date: July 7, 2026

Learning needs and goals:

  • The parents would like her to begin to understand and communicate in English before starting at a British school.
  • Focus areas include listening comprehension, school-related vocabulary, everyday communication, and building confidence when interacting with teachers and other children.
  • Developing social language skills to help make friends and participate comfortably in daily school life will be especially important.

Learning preferences:

  • The learner responds best to warm, playful, and interactive lessons with a kind and encouraging teacher.
  • They enjoy game-based learning, conversational practice, and varied activities rather than structured academic lessons.

Qualifications:

  • To have native or near-native written and spoken proficiency in the target language
  • To have a degree or certification in language teaching, education, instructional design, writing, language, linguistics, second-language acquisition, or a related field
  • To have a minimum of two years of experience
  • Experience working with kids is a must
