Job Information
- Availability: Friday mornings (EST – New York time)
- Lesson Frequency: 1 time per week
- Lesson Duration: 1 hour
- Current English level: Advanced (focus on pronunciation refinement)
- Native/other languages: Not specified
Student language needs and goals
- Master Received Pronunciation (RP / BBC English / Standard English)
- Refine articulation, intonation, stress, and rhythm
- Reduce or eliminate non-standard accent features
- Sound polished, clear, and confident in professional and social contexts
- Develop awareness of phonetic accuracy and pronunciation consistency
Responsibilities
- Deliver specialized pronunciation-focused lessons using RP standards
- Diagnose and correct segmental and suprasegmental pronunciation issues
- Train stress patterns, intonation, connected speech, and rhythm
- Use targeted drills, listening discrimination, and guided speaking practice
- Provide clear feedback and practical strategies for continuous improvement
- Support confident, natural-sounding spoken English
