TIG Welder / Fabricator & Pipefitter Required in Glasgow (Central Belt Site Work)

About the Role

Global Recruitment is currently seeking experienced TIG Welders / Fabricators and Pipefitters for our clients operations based in Glasgow and Greenock. This role offers a mix of workshop and site work, starting initially in the Glasgow workshop, before progressing to site-based work across the Central Belt. This is a temporary-to-permanent opportunity, offering a minimum of 6 months work, with the potential for a permanent position after a 13-week probation period.

Working Hours

  • Monday to Friday (Day Shift)
  • 40 hours per week
  • Evening shifts available
  • Optional overtime at weekends (including 8 hours Saturday)

Pay Rate

Up to £24 per hour (depending on experience). Overtime paid in addition.

Key Responsibilities

  • TIG welding to a coded standard
  • Pipefitting and fabrication duties
  • Working with thin wall stainless steel (mainly hygienic)
