Global Recruitment, on behalf of a reputable client, is seeking an experienced Guillotine Operator Sheet Metal to join a dynamic team in the Govan area of Glasgow. This is a temporary-to-permanent position.
Location: Govan, Glasgow
Rate: £17.50 per hour
Payment Method: CIS / Umbrella
Hours: Monday-Thursday 8:00am-4:45pm, Friday 8:00am-3:00pm
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate guillotines (including Amada models) to accurately cut sheet metal.
- Work from technical drawings to meet production specifications.
- Participate in the sheet metal manufacturing process.
- Use hand and power tools safely and effectively.
- Follow established in-house processes and procedures to maintain quality.
Skills & Experience Required:
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings accurately.
- Experience working with a variety of metals, including aluminium, pre-coated sheet, and stainless steel.
- Skilled in using precision measuring tools to ensure accurate fabrication.
- High attention to detail.
